The body of the sweater is done! I dampened it and it's drying flat. I wanted to try drying it on a wet cloth, but didn't really have a good place to do it. Or a good cloth to wet. At least at 10 at night when I just wanted it done!

I'll start the collar tomorrow!

I'm about halfway done with the second front. At this rate, I'll finish Wednesday. Then cuffs, collar, and belt, of course.

Tracking finally updated and my silk yarn will be here Friday. I'm so excited to see it!

So, I have a similar sweater pattern to the one I just bought, and it uses Corticelli sweater silk. It made me want silk for mine, and I found fingering weight cordonnet silk and ordered the last of the pale pink naughty piglet.

I divided the yardage of the cone of yarn for the fringed dress by the recommended skeins, and got 97 yards. Since I used ( Read more... )

Last night I accidentally stayed up until one reading knitting patterns. I didn't mean to buy any, but found one in a 1919 Blue Book that I love, so bought it. I think this is next...

It's a little strange that all I want is late teens/early 20s sweaters, but at least I want to make something!
